This year, on August 22nd, 2024, the YGK Healthcare Champions will be hosting their first annual golf tournament at Loyalist Golf and Country Club in Bath, ON.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 for the Providence Care Rehabilitation Unit to purchase a much needed walking aid that the government does not provide funding for.
Community members can register to participate in the golf tournament as an individual or as a foursome at Home - YGK Healthcare Champions - Golf Tournament 2024 (akaraisin.com).
Donations are also accepted online for those unable to attend!
About YGK Healthcare Champions
The mission of the YGK Healthcare Champions is to inspire value aligned leaders to raise funds and awareness in support of Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) and Providence Care through UHKF. UHKF is the charitable arm for KHSC and Providence Care. From hospital to home to community-based care, UHKF supports programs, equipment, education and cutting-edge research that benefit the 500,000 people living in Kingston, southeastern Ontario, and beyond.
From 2020 to 2022, YGK Healthcare Champions raised over $220,000 to purchase Vcreate technology for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In 2023, our “Night to Remember” event raised over $38,000: $10,000 for The Stand Up to Stigma campaign towards their annual conference and $28,000 to support the purchase of an Omi Mobile Projection Machine for Providence Manor.
